Plotdigger Films Inc. is a Vancouver, Canada based indy film production company specializing in horror films. Plotdigger's mission is to create mind boggling and amazingly graphic horror films that will leave the viewing audience with a lasting impression. Employing passionate and dedicated actors and crew, Plotdigger Films creates intense and brutal visual images the way horror films are meant to be seen. Plotdigger Films debuted in 2005 with the dark and disturbing "Live Feed", which has developed into an international cult hit and will soon be releasing "Gutterballs" which absolutely will raise the bar for cool horror flicks.

Roy Nicholson: (President and CEO)

Roy Nicholson is President of Plotdigger Films Inc. and Executive Producer for its motion pictures including "Live Feed" and the soon to be released "Gutterballs". Roy has a medical background and ten years experience as operations manager Plotdigger Films "in-house" prosthetic and creature effects studio, Life to Death FX. Roy collaborates with Ryan on script development and creative concepts for future film projects and manages administrative functions within the company.

Ryan Nicholson: (Creative Director, Marketing Operations)

Ryan Nicholson loves horror movies, plain and simple. Ryan started out in the film world as an award-winning make-up effects artist but writing and directing were always in his sights. After making the internet drip blood with his first short film "Torched", Ryan focused on writing and directing his first feature length movie "Live Feed". It wasn't long after "Live Feed" had hit video stores across North America when Ryan was already gearing up for his next feature, the horror/comedy/gore-fest entitled "Gutterballs". With a 2008 release approaching for "Gutterballs", Ryan's already writing and developing new projects. "I make movies that I want to see", Ryan says, "I can't wait around for someone else to make them." When asked about the ultra-violent content and excessive gore in his movies, Ryan had this to say, "I make more is more horror. I¡¦m not of the school of thought that showing something off-screen is more effective than showing it on-screen. I like to show everything. I leave nothing to the imagination." Looking at Ryan's work, he is a man of his words!

Michelle Grady: (Co-Creative Director)

As an artist, Michelle Grady sculpts and paints, creating horrifying set pieces with her ultra-realistic human bodies or spine-tingling creatures. As a producer, Michelle is very skilled with managing a crew and getting projects done on time and on budget. Working with Roy and Ryan, Michelle is often the mediator when heads butt and solving problems is just a days work to Michelle. "I've been given impossible deadlines with other film projects yet managed to get the job done. With Plotdigger Films, we know how long it takes to create the effects, the wardrobe, the props and everything else that is required to make a great looking movie, so we plan and plan, leaving very little margin for error." Michelle says. "I love being creative. Be it helping Ryan with his scripts or helping Roy manage the productions. It's all an art-form to me." One thing is certain, Michelle's mind-bending make-up effects in "Gutterballs" will help put Plotdigger Films on the map as a contender in the business of making horror movies.
